GENERAL INFORMATION TO ALL CLIENTS

Tolley's Nurseries supply premium seed within Australia and export to international clients. The utmost care and attention is given to this seed in order to present a quality product. This is undertaken from harvesting of each variety of seed fruit, extraction, hot water treatment, providing required phytosanitary treatments, grading of seed batches, to final sealing in 1-litre heavy-duty polythene bags labelled ready for despatch.

All treatments are listed in detail on bag labels and each bag of Tolley's Nurseries quality citrus seed has a colour coded label sealed-in for easy variety recognition. We also give general information to aid the nursery propagator on the reverse of the label. Completed seed bags are stored under controlled cool-room temperature pending shipment from our nursery. Seed is sold by per litre measurement. The critical moisture level in the seed is controlled in the drying process, and by using a per litre measure we feel there is less moisture weight variability than selling per weight basis.

We urge our clients to remember that care of seed will assist its future. We recommend you collect your seed as soon as it arrives and not leave seed in either very cold, or warm/hot conditions. Store either in a normal refrigerator - at 4.5°C (40°F) or in a cool-room temperature between 4.5°C-8°C. (40°F - 46°F). Think of your seed first, to ensure the best results it can bring you.

SEED EXPORT TO INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

Please note: Southern Hemisphere seed fruit season commences late March with Trifoliata & Flying Dragon progressing through ripening of seed fruits, to finish extraction early October with Cleopatra Mandarin.

Export Seed for despatch to international clients is inspected by Australian Quarantine Inspection Services (AQIS). Treatment required under the Import Permit is certified with an official phytosanitary AQIS certificate. Tolleys Nurseries also provide a Statutory Declaration of seed treatment.

International seed despatch procedures:
On receipt of your seed order a pro-forma invoice is first issued by our office covering cost of seed, Renmark despatch to DHL airfreight transfer, insurance of goods as required, AQIS inspection charges, & documentation fees. A formal invoice is issued on receipt of client confirmation of acceptance. Prepayment of this invoice prior to seed despatch is required, together with supply of a clear copy of the Import Certificate of the client country showing English translation of requested treatments.

Insurance of goods through DHL may be requested by the client at placement of the seed order and quoted cost will be added to pro-forma invoice.

Despatch: We use DHL International Air Freight for our export shipments.Seed is packed in a Mini-Jumbo box or Jumbo box, which provides a competitive freight rate. The DHL Air waybill number ensures client advice on tracking shipments, and of arrival at airport of destination.
